Abstract: 

Join us for a comprehensive 2-day course tailored for dental and allied health professionals who wish to broaden their clinical skills in the management of Temporomandibular Disorders (TMD) using evidence-based adjunctive techniques: dry needling, low-level laser therapy (LLLT), and acupuncture.

This hands-on training is designed for practitioners looking to expand their scope of TMD management with integrative approaches that are safe, minimally invasive, and effective.

• Foundations of TMD and myofascial pain syndromes
• Principles and protocols of dry needling specific to masticatory muscles
• Clinical applications of low level laser therapy for muscular and joint dysfunction

Damian is passionate about looking “beyond the mouth” and treating the body as a whole. He has been treating TMD & OSA for over 10 years using a combination of splints, manual therapy, dry needling, low level laser therapy (LLLT) and acupuncture.

Damian completed his Certificate in Medical Acupuncture training with the Australian Medical Acupuncture (AMAC), a College exclusively for medical doctors and dentists.

Damian works closely with many different health practitioners ranging from physiotherapists, chiropractors, osteopaths, acupuncturists, speech pathologists, sleep respiratory physicians, ENTs, oral surgeons and even personal trainers.
